Senk earns contract extension at Stony Brook

Matt Senk, CBI National Co-Coach of the Year, has received a contract extension at Stony Brook through the 2017 season.

The Seawolves set a program record with 52 victories in 2012, winning their first Regional title in Coral Gables and first Super Regional crown in Baton Rouge for their inaugural appearance in the College World Series.

Senk just completed his 22nd season as head coach at SBU. He led the program as it transitioned to NCAA Division I in 2000. Senk has had 18 winning seasons, posting a record of 624-392 (.614). The Seawolves went 94-27 (.777) over the past seasons, the top winning percentage in the nation over that period.
