Peterson recovering from open heart surgery

Middle Tennessee head coach Steve Peterson had quintuple bypass surgery last week. He returned home Saturday to recuperate.

Peterson has coached the Blue Raiders for the past 20 seasons. MTSU was 27-29-1 this past season, including 13-16 in the Sun Belt.

The family asks that all cards and letters be sent to the athletic department.
