Gill Gains Top Spot at Loyola
Marymount
Former Lion assistant coach Jason Gill has been
hired as head coach at Loyola Marymount.
Gill was an assistant at LMU in 1999 and 2000. He
worked the past four seasons with George Horton at Cal State
Fullerton and Oregon as infield coach, recruiting coordinator
and hitting instructor. Gill also served as an assistant for
three years at UC Irvine.
Prior to his time at LMU, Gill was an assistant
at Nevada in 1997 and 1998.
Gill played two seasons at Cuesta College and
spent his junior year at Cal State Dominguez Hills before
playing his senior season at Cal State Fullerton. Gill earned
his bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from Fullerton in 1996.
