UNC keeps narrow lead over Vandy in CBI

Composite Poll. The Tar Heels have been No. 1 for 12 consecutive weeks.
UNC won its only game of the week on Wednesday at home against
The Citadel. The Tar Heels are first in three polls and second in the other two.
Vanderbilt went 2-0 to stay in second, taking two at No. 12
South Carolina before Sunday's matchup was washed out. The Commodores are first in two polls and second in the other three.
LSU had a 4-0 week, remaining in third. The Tigers topped
McNeese State on Tuesday before sweeping a three-game set from Florida. LSU is third in four polls and fourth in the other.
Cal State Fullerton was 3-0 to hang onto fourth. The Titans
swept a three-game set from Long Beach State. Cal State Fullerton
is third in one poll and fourth in the other four.
Oregon State went 3-0 and stayed in fifth. The Beavers swept a
three-game series from California. OSU is fifth in three polls, sixth in one poll and
seventh in the other.
Arkansas went 3-1 and rose three places to No. 12.
Stanford returned to the poll after taking two of three at No.
12 Arizona to sit at No. 20. Ole Miss dropped out of the poll.
The CBI Composite Poll contains five teams each from the ACC, SEC and
Pac-12. There
are four from the Pac-12 and single entries
from the Big East, Big Ten, Big 12, Big West and Conference USA.
