Poll
Top four stay same: No. 2 Vanderbilt, No. 3 LSU, No. 4 Oregon

After
putting together another 4-0 week, North Carolina remains the unanimous No. 1 in the CollegeBaseballInsider.com Composite
Poll.
The Tar Heels downed Davidson at home on Tuesday before sweeping a three-game
ACC series at Wake Forest over the weekend. UNC is first in all five polls.
Vanderbilt had a 3-1 week to stay in second, defeating Eastern
Illinois before taking two of three at No. 14 Oregon. Vanderbilt is second in
three polls, third in one and fourth in the other.
LSU had a 5-0 week at home to remain in third, beating Stephen
F. Austin and Sacred Heart before sweeping a three-game set from Washington. The Tigers are
second in one poll, third in three polls and seventh in the other.
Oregon State swept a three-game home series from Texas State to
stay undefeated and remain in fourth. The Beavers have a second, a third, two
fourths and a fifth.
South Carolina bumped up one spot to fifth after a 5-0 home
week. The Gamecocks beat Ball State twice before sweeping a three-game set
from Rider. South Carolina has two fifths, two sixths and one seventh.
Ole Miss was the big riser, jumping seven spots to
No. 6 beating Southeastern Louisiana and sweeping a three-game series from
Lipscomb. Stanford was swept at home by UNLV and fell 11 places to No. 19.
Arizona State enters the poll at No. 16 and Notre Dame appears
at No. 20. Oklahoma and Arizona dropped out of the poll.
The CBI Composite Poll contains seven teams from the SEC,
including four of the top six. There
are five from the ACC and Pac-12, two from the Big East and a single entry
from the Big West.
