LSU returns to top spot in CBI Composite Poll
UNC sits in second,
Texas is third, Georgia comes in
fourth
By sitting on top of all four national polls, LSU is a unanimous No. 1
in the latest CollegeBaseballInsider.com Composite Poll.
The Tigers won all four games this past week to improve to 7-0.
LSU defeated Southern on Wednesday and swept a three-game series from UCF over
the weekend.
The Tar Heels (7-1) rebounded from a loss to Coastal Carolina to beat Liberty
and sweep a three-game set with Seton Hall.
Texas (9-0) climbed to No. 3 with a win
over Texas-Arlington and a four-game sweep of Penn State. Georgia (8-0) took
two from Presbyterian and won three at Arizona to rise to No. 4. Arizona State
(8-1) went 4-1 to rise to No. 5.
Miami (Fla.) won three at
nationally-ranked Florida to climb eight spots to No. 9. TCU (5-1) defeated
Dallas Baptist and Texas State before winning at nationally-ranked Ole Miss to
jump 10 places to No. 15.
East Carolina (5-1) enters the poll at
No.23 and Cal Poly (6-1) checks in at No. 25.
