Miami stays unanimous No. 1 in CBI Composite Poll
North Carolina remains No. 2; Florida State tied with Arizona
State for No. 3
By sitting on top of all four national
polls, Miami
(Fla.) remains No. 1
in the CollegeBaseballInsider.com Composite Poll for the fifth consecutive week.
The Hurricanes went 3-0 this
past week to raise their record to 39-5. Miami won a three-game
non-conference series at home with Saint Mary's.
North Carolina (38-8) remains the consensus
No. 2 after being idle last week due to final exams. Florida State (39-7) won
twice at Stetson and twice at ACC-rival Clemson to sit in a third-place tie
with Arizona State (37-8), which went 2-1 at Pac-10 rival UCLA. Rice (34-11)
was also idle this past week due to exams to remain in fifth.
NC State (32-14) entered the poll at No.
19. Michigan (34-11) returned to the rankings at No. 20.
