Stetson

Oklahoma State

The Cowboys are making their 44th trip to the NCAA tourney, the fourth-highest total in the nation. OSU finished second in the Big 12 with a 16-8 conference mark. OSU had 11 players earn all-conference honors, including Matt Kroon (.302/11/37) as Newcomer of the Year and Carson Teel (7-4, 4.56 ERA, 81 IP, 88 K) as All-Big 12 First Team as a starting pitcher.

Hartford

The Hawks won their first America East Championship with a 9-4 victory over Stony Brook in the title game. Hartford was picked to finish last in the preseason coaches poll. The Hawks are making their first trip to the NCAA Tournament. Hartford has never faced Stetson. The Hawks are 1-3 against Oklahoma State and 0-2 vs. USF. Head coach Justin Blood is in his seventh season guiding the Hartford program. Dr. David Miller is on staff as Director of Baseball Analytics. Nick Campana leads with offence with a batting average of .389 with 77 hits, 17 doubles, 10 homers, 45 runs and 39 RBI. Drew Farkas is 7-2 with one save and a 2.77 ERA.
