Tigers continue to top
attendance chart
For
the 15th consecutive season, LSU led the nation in total
attendance in figures released by the NCAA.
The Tigers drew 394,900 fans in 37 home dates, an
average of 10,673. LSU was on top of average attendance for the
14th time in the past 15 years. The seating capacity for Alex
Box Stadium is 10,150. The Tigers set a school single-game
record on April 17, 2010, when 12,313 tickets were sold for a
contest against Alabama. LSU sold more than 10,000 tickets for
33 of its games in 2010.
Arkansas was second for the third straight year.
The Razorbacks set a total attendance record of 292,734, passing
the previous mark of 266,270 set in 2007. Arkansas has been in
the top five in each of the past six seasons, including second
in five of the past six years. The Razorbacks led the country in
average attendance in 2007 at 8,069.
