USA Baseball Announces Team USA Roster

USA Baseball revealed the 22 members of its 2010 Collegiate National Team.

There are three returnees from the 2009 National Team: Gerrit Cole (right) of UCLA, Sonny Gray of Vanderbilt and Brad Miller of Clemson.

The roster includes five infielders, four outfielders, two catchers, nine pitchers and a pair of two-way players.

Team USA will play a five-game series against Korea before facing a Japanese Collegiate All-Star Team on July 21 at Rosenblatt Stadium in Omaha. The squad will head to Taipei, Taiwan, for a four-game set against Chinese Taipei at Tien-Mu Stadium beginning July 25. Team USA will conclude its summer schedule at the FISU World University Championships in Tokyo, Japan, from July 30-Aug. 7. The U.S. has won the past three FISU Worlds (2004, ’06, ’08).
