Arkansas visits LSU in weekend's top series

No. 14 Arkansas (12-3) travels to Baton Rouge for a three-game series at No. 5 LSU (14-2) as league play begins in the Southeastern Conference.

The Tigers are the defending national champions, while the Razorbacks reached the College World Series in 2009.

Also in the SEC, Mississippi State (11-6) travels to No. 8 Florida (13-3), Alabama (14-1) hosts No. 17 Vanderbilt (15-2) and No. 19 Ole Miss (13-4) heads to Kentucky (14-3).

No. 6 Florida State (1-2, 13-3) heads to Chapel Hill to face No. 18 North Carolina (1-2, 14-4) in the top ACC series this weekend.

Houston (9-6) has a chance to continue its strong start with a series at No. 2 Arizona State (17-0).

No. 20 Rice (11-7) heads to the West Coast for a three-game set at San Diego (9-9).
