Reinstetle resigns at Ole Miss
Assistant coach and recruiting coordinator Rob
Reinstetle has resigned at Ole Miss for personal reasons,
effective immediately.
Reinstetle has been with the Rebels for the past
three seasons. He was hitting coach and worked with the
infielders as well as serving as recruiting coordinator. Ole
Miss made three NCAA Regionals and two Super Regionals with
Reinstetle.
Reinstetle has also been an assistant at Ohio
Dominican (2001), Cincinnati (2002), Okloosa-Walton CC (2003),
College of Charleston (2004 and 2005) and South Alabama (2006).
Head
coach Mike Bianco has recommended the elevation of volunteer
Matt Mossberg (right) to a full-time position and the transition
of Rob Francis from Director of Baseball Operations to
volunteer. Pitching coach Carl Lafferty would become recruiting
coordinator.
Mossberg has been a volunteer assistant the past
two seasons, helping with the hitters and working with the
outfielders. The former Rebel outfielder was Director of
Baseball Operations in 2007 after one season as an assistant at
Jefferson State CC.
Francis
(left) has been Director of Baseball Operations for the past two
seasons after coaching in the state of Florida for seven years
(Florida Gulf Coast, 2003-04; Seminole HS, 2005; East Lake HS,
2006-07).
