Start of ACC Action Highlights Third Weekend

The ACC kicks off conference play to highlight this weekend’s action.

The top series will be No. 19 Clemson at second-ranked North Carolina. NC State visits No. 9 Miami (Fla.), Boston College plays at No. 10 Florida State, and No. 12 Georgia Tech entertains Maryland.

No. 7 Rice plays host to a strong field in the Academy Sports & Outdoors Rice Classic, with Washington State, Notre Dame and Oral Roberts. No. 13 Baylor welcomes No. 11 UC Irvine, South Alabama and UAB to the QTI Baylor Classic. No. 14 Oklahoma State continues in the Palm Springs Invitational with Oregon State, San Francisco and UC Riverside. Eastern Illinois and Milwaukee play in Louisville in the UBS Cardinal Classic.

Third-ranked Texas heads to the West Coast for a three-game set at No. 24 Stanford. No. 8 Cal State Fullerton plays a three-game series at Southern Miss. No. 15 TCU continues its strong schedule with a three-game set with Wichita State. No. 18 San Diego continues its four-game series with cross-town rival San Diego State. UCLA plays three at No. 22 Oklahoma.

Kent State and Wright State play at UNC Wilmington. Elon plays a key three-game Southern Conference series at The Citadel. ULM has an important three-game Sun Belt set at Western Kentucky.
