Coaches Have Their Own Game of Pepper

Kreuter earns Top Chef Award

USC head coach Chad Kreuter (left) was named Top Chef at the ESPN Zone’s NCAA Baseball Coaches Cook-off Jan. 24 at ESPN Zone in the Downtown Disney District.

Along with being named Top Chef, Kreuter earned the Best Taste Award.

Each coach had to cook two different pasta dishes in 20 minutes. Tom Keaveny, ESPN Zone’s executive chef, showed the coaches how to make the first dish (sun-dried tomato pasta) which they had to prepare from memory. For the second dish, the coaches could be as creative as they wanted in preparing another pasta entree.
