Getting to the Fun Part of the
Season
We have our next
two conference series on the road, starting this weekend at Kansas.
We swept Kansas
State at home last weekend, but we followed that with a disappointing 2-0 loss
Tuesday at Texas-Arlington. We need to regain our focus if we intend to win a
series on the road this weekend.
We hit better last
weekend against Kansas State than we have in a while, a trend that hopefully
will continue this weekend. We are in the hunt for a Big 12 Conference title,
and this is when the season really starts to get fun.
These are the
weekends that we work for all year, so hopefully our preparation will be proven
by our quality of play. If we bounce back from our Tuesday loss and play like we
are capable of playing, then we should get another series win and be in a good
position heading into the last four weekends of conference play.
