Kyle Brown is a senior outfielder at Le Moyne of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. In helping the Dolphins to last year’s NCAA Regionals in Wilson, N.C., Brown batted .338 with four homers, 24 RBI and swiped 25 bases in 27 attempts. Brown, from Schenectady, N.Y., was ranked 48th in Baseball America’s pro prospect list for the senior class. He is a sociology major.

Kevin Cooney, Florida Atlantic

Kevin Cooney is entering his 17th season as head coach at FAU and 21st overall. Each week, he’ll share some of the highs and lows of running a college baseball program - one that continues to grow as a national power. Cooney, who starred as a pitcher before taking Montclair State to a Division III national title, has guided the Blue Wave to a 226-89 record and four NCAA Regionals the past five years.

P.J. Pilittere is a fifth-year senior catcher at Cal State Fullerton. He capped an outstanding 2003 season with a spot on the College World Series all-tournament team by hitting .500 (6-12) with three extra-base hits and three RBI in four games. A native of Walnut, Calif., Pilittere is a broadcast journalism major and hopes to pursue a career in television broadcasting.

Jeremy Sowers, Vanderbilt University

Jeremy Sowers is a junior lefty at Vanderbilt, who chose to pitch for the Commodores despite being the 20th overall pick out of high school by the Cincinnati Reds. Regarded as one of the elite pitchers in the country, Sowers went 7-5 with a 2.50 ERA in 115 innings with 123 strikeouts and 29 walks as a sophomore, going 7-0 with a 2.11 ERA in his last nine starts.
