UCLA remains on top and the first four places are unanimous in the latest CBI Composite Poll.

The Bruins had a 4-0 week, winning at Cal State Fullerton before heading to New Jersey for a three-game Big Ten sweep at Rutgers. UCLA is first in all five national polls.

Georgia Tech was also 4-0, bumping up one spot to second. The Yellow Jackets topped Kennesaw State prior to a three-game ACC sweep of fifth-ranked Florida State. GT is second in all five polls.

North Carolina had a 3-1 week and climbed three places to third. The Tar Heels beat Charlotte before taking two of three at Clemson in ACC action. UNC is third in all five polls.

Texas went 1-2 to drop two spots to fourth. The Longhorns defeated UIW before dropping two games at No. 16 Texas A&M in SEC action. The third game of the series was cancelled. UT is fourth in all five polls.

Oregon State had a 4-1 week to rise two places to fifth. The Beavers split a pair at Washington State before sweeping a three-game series from Cal Poly. OSU is fifth in two polls and sixth in the other three.

Florida, Arkansas, Oregon and Kansas entered this week’s CBI Composite Poll, while Southern Miss, UCF, Nebraska and Arizona State dropped out.

There are nine teams from the SEC in this week’s CBI Composite Poll. There are four from the ACC, three from the Big Ten, two from the Big 12, one independent and one from the Sun Belt.
