Arkansas and Vanderbilt held the top two spots and Texas rose to third in the CBI Composite Poll.

The Razorbacks had a 3-1 week, beating Arkansas State before taking two of three at No. 5 Tennessee. Arkansas is first in all six national polls.

The Commodores went 2-2, beating North Alabama prior to dropping two of three at No. 15 Ole Miss. Vandy is second in three polls and third in the other three.

The Longhorns did not play last week. UT is second in three polls, third in one and fourth in the other two.

Tennessee went 2-2 and bumped up one place to fourth. The Vols defeated Tennessee Tech before losing two of three to Arkansas. UT is fourth in two polls, fifth in two and sixth in the other two.

Mississippi State lost two of three to Missouri and fell two spots to fifth. The Dawgs are third in one poll, fourth in one, sixth in three and 10th in the other one.

UC Irvine, UCLA and Gonzaga entered this week’s CBI Composite Poll, while Charlotte, Louisville and Pittsburgh dropped out.

There are seven teams from the SEC in this week’s poll, including five of the top eight. There are four from the Pac-12, three from the Big 12, two from the ACC, and single entries from the American, Big West, Conference USA and West Coast.
