Pittsburgh, which swept an ACC road series at Florida State (ranked as high as No. 9 in the nation) en route to a 6-1 start, has been named the first national team of the week for the 2021 college baseball season for games played the first 10 days of the season. The Panthers earned their first ACC road sweep since joining the league in 2014, rallying for a 13-inning win in the finale after limiting the Seminoles to two runs in the first two games of the series. After dropping a game to Indiana State (which split four games at Tennessee last weekend) on Opening Day, Pitt captured the series and then beat Jacksonville to set up its big weekend in Tallahassee.

- Northeast – Boston College started 5-1, picking up three wins at Charleston Southern and winning its series at Duke.
- Southeast – USC Upstate posted three wins against Toledo before going on the road to sweep three games at Charleston.
- Central – North Dakota State won a series at Western Kentucky and then swept a three-game set at St. Louis.
- West – UCSB won its series against Santa Clara before sweeping four games from Pepperdine.

- UNC Greensboro sandwiched series wins against Elon and High Point with a win over NC State.
- South Carolina took three from Dayton, one from Winthrop and went 2-0 against Clemson.
- Florida Atlantic took two of three from UCF, beat FGCU and swept three from Seton Hall.

- Florida Gulf Coast went 3-0 against South Florida, dropped a game to FAU and took three of four from Kansas.
- Southern Illinois picked up single wins over Tennessee Tech, Alabama State, Jacksonville State and Eastern Illinois and went 3-0 at Mercer.
- Arkansas beat Texas Tech, Texas and TCU before sweeping four games from SEMO.
- Virginia Tech went 2-0 against Kent State, beat Radford and took two of three at Miami.
- Georgia Tech won its series against Eastern Kentucky before beating Mercer and sweeping NC State on the road.
- Louisiana won its series at Tulane, beat Louisiana Tech, lost to LSU and swept three from Rice.
