After winning his third national championship at Oregon State this past season, Beavers head coach Pat Casey has announced his retirement.

Casey was a head coach for 31 seasons, including 24 years in Corvallis. He posted 900 victories at Oregon State and took the Beavers to Omaha six times. Oregon State also won national titles in 2006 and 2007.

Casey will remain at Oregon State as a Senior Associate Athletics Director/Special Assistant to Vice President and Director of Athletics Scott Barnes.

Pat Bailey will serve a interim head coach for the upcoming season. The school will begin a national search for a head coach following the 2019 campaign. Bailey was an assistant coach and associate head coach for 11 seasons under Casey at Oregon State.
