After a 4-0 week, including a three-game ACC sweep of Boston College, Louisville remained No. 1 in the CBI Composite Poll.
The Cardinals were first in four of the national polls and second in the other.
Oregon State swept a three-game Pac-12 set at Arizona State and stayed in second. The Beavers were first in two polls and second in the other three.
There was much movement below those top two spots.
TCU went 2-2 and moved up one spot to third. The Horned Frogs took two of three from Kansas in Big 12 play. TCU was third in three polls, fourth in one poll and fifth in the other.
Texas Tech was 3-1 and climbed seven spots to fourth. The Red Raiders swept a three-game Big 12 set at Texas. TTU was third in two polls, fourth in two polls and eighth in the other.
LSU had a 4-1 week, including a three-game SEC sweep of Georgia, to move up one place to fifth. The Tigers were fourth in two polls, fifth in two polls and eighth in the other.
Four teams moved into this week’s poll: Florida Gulf Coast at No. 14, Ole Miss at No. 16, Missouri at No. 17 and Oklahoma at No. 19. The four teams that dropped out were Virginia, Texas A&M, East Carolina and UL Lafayette.
There are five teams in the poll from the SEC to lead the way. There are four teams from the ACC and Big 12, three from the Pac-12 and single entries from the Atlantic Sun, Big East, Big Ten and Big West.
