Oregon coach George Horton was named manager of the 2016 Collegiate National Team by USA Baseball Thursday.
Horton, in his eighth season leading the Ducks after 11 years at Cal State Fullerton, served as an assistant coach for Team USA in 2012.
His staff includes Loyola Marymount coach Jason Gill, Tulane coach David Pierce, Tennessee coach Dave Serrano, former LMU and Long Beach State coach Dave Snow and Oregon assistant Mitch Karraker.
