Chuck Hartman, former Virginia Tech and High Point head coach, passed away on Nov. 2 at the age of 85.
Mr. Hartman recorded 1,444 career victories, including 961 wins in 28 seasons with the Hokies.
Mr. Hartman was a member of eight different Halls of Fame:

Virginia Tech won a Metro Conference tournament championship and three Atlantic 10 tournament titles. The Hokies went to the NCAA Tournament in 1994, 1997, 1999 and 2000. Mr. Hartman coached 12 All-Americans and four first-round picks in the MLB Draft.
