Following a 4-0 week over Top 10 opponents, Florida has returned to the top spot in the CBI Composite Poll.
The Gators nipped No. 5 Florida State before sweeping a three-game SEC set from sixth-ranked Vanderbilt. UF is first in all five national polls.
Stanford bumped up one spot to second after a 3-1 week. The Cardinal topped San Diego before taking two of three from Oregon. Stanford is second in all five polls.
Ole Miss moved up one place to third. The Rebels defeated No. 14 Southern Miss before winning two of three against No. 7 Arkansas. Ole Miss is third in four polls and fifth in the other.
Oregon State fell three spots to fourth. The Beavers lost two of three at Utah. OSU is third in one poll, fourth in three polls and fifth in the other.
Florida State remained in fifth after a 2-2 week. After their loss to Florida, the Seminoles took two of three from No. 17 Louisville. FSU is fourth in one poll, sixth in three polls and ninth in the other.
Georgia moved into the poll at No. 16 and knocked out Texas A&M after its SEC series win over the Aggies.
There are eight teams from the SEC in this week’s poll, including two of the top three spots in the poll. There are five teams from the ACC, including three of the top eight. There are three teams from the Pac-12, and single entries from the American, Big Ten, Big 12 and Conference USA.
