Creighton took the top spot by one point over three other schools in the Big East Preseason Poll.
The Bluejays collected two first-place votes and 29 points to edge Seton Hall, St. John’s and Xavier. All three schools had 28 points. The Pirates earned three first-place votes, while the Red Storm picked up one.
