Kyle Teel belted a grand slam in the bottom of the seventh to erase a 2-1 deficit as UVA downed DBU to advance to its fifth College World Series and first since winning the National Championship in 2015. Jackson Glenn (2 for 2, 2 BB) had a two-run homer in the third as the Patriots (41-18) took an early lead. Nic Kent (2 for 4) had a solo shot in the fourth as the Cavaliers (35-25) cut the deficit in half. Matt Wyatt (4-1, 5.2 IP, 2 H, 2 BB, 8 K) earned the win in relief.

Logan Tanner had a three-run homer to cap a six-run second as MSU outscored ND to earn its third straight trip to the College World Series and 12th appearance overall. Tanner Allen (2 for 4, 2B, 2 R, 2 RBI) also went deep for the Bulldogs (45-16). Landon Sims (4-0, 4 IP, 3 H, 2 R, BB, 4 K) earned the win in relief. Ryan Cole went 3 for 4 with a homer, three runs and two RBI, while Niko Kavadas crushed a two-run homer in the seventh for the Irish (34-13).
