Los Angeles Super Regional

Michigan 3, No. 1 UCLA 2 (UM leads 1-0)

Karl Kauffmann held UCLA scoreless for eight innings as UM pulled out the series opener. Kauffmann (10-6) worked 8.1 innings with four hits, two runs, two walks and eight strikeouts. Jeff Criswell recorded the final two outs for his first save. The Wolverines (45-19) took the lead in the third on a two-run single by Jesse Franklin (2 for 4). Jordan Nwogu added a sacrifice fly in the eighth as UM took a 3-0 lead. Michael Toglia had a two-run single in the ninth for the Bruins (51-10), but UCLA left runners stranded on the corners against Criswell. Ryan Garcia (10-1, 7.2 IP, 5 H, 3 R, 2 ER, BB, 8 K) suffered his first loss of the season.

Nashville Super Regional

Duke 18, No. 2 Vanderbilt 5 (Duke leads 1-0)

Kyle Gallagher had a three-run homer to cap a four-run third as Duke outscored Vandy. The Blue Devils (35-25) put the game away with 10 runs in the eighth. Gallagher went 2 for 4 with three runs and four RBI, while Erikson Nichols had two hits and four RBI for Duke. Ben Gross (8-4, 5.1 IP, 7 H, 5 R, 5 BB, 7 K) earned the win. Philip Clarke (2 for 4, 2 RBI) homered for the Commodores (52-11).

Lubbock Super Regional

No. 8 Texas Tech 8, No. 9 Oklahoma State 6 (TTU leads 1-0)

Dylan Neuse had a two-run single in the second to start the scoring and give TTU a lead it would not relinquish in edging OSU. Neuse had two hits, one walk, one run and two RBI, as did Brian Klein for the Red Raiders (43-17). Josh Jung (2 for 5) and Cody Masters both homered for the victors. Micah Dallas (7-0, 5 IP, 4 H, 3 R, 2 ER, BB, 9 K) picked up the win, while John McMillon (2 IP, H, R, BB, 3 K)  recorded his third save. Trevor Boone had two hits and two RBI, while Alix Garcia (2 for 4, 2 RBI) went deep for the Cowboys (39-20).

Louisville Super Regional

No. 7 Louisville 14, No. 10 East Carolina 1 (UL leads 1-0)

Danny Oriente had a bases-clearing double to cap a four-run fourth as UL overwhelmed ECU. The Cardinals (48-16) scored multiple runs in four straight innings. Jake Snider (2 for 4, 2 R, 3 RBI) had a two-run double to highlight a five-run fifth for UL. Tyler Fitzgerald went 4 for 5 with four runs and two RBI. Reid Detmers (12-4, 7 IP, 5 H, R, 2 BB, 6 K) earned the victory. Spencer Brickhouse (2 for 4) homered in the sixth for the Pirates (47-17).
