Travis Watkins went 3 for 6 with two homers, including a grand slam in a five-run fifth inning, and six RBI as East Carolina held off Texas Tech.

He homered again in the sixth inning to make it 8-3.

The win was the first Super Regional victory for ECU, which is a game away from its first trip to Omaha.
