Cal Stark homered twice and knocked in four as UT topped Southern Miss to sweep the Knoxville Regional. Kavares Tears had a three-run homer, three walks and three runs for the Vols (53-11). Nate Snead (9-2) tossed 4.1 innings of scoreless relief with three hits, two walks and three strikeouts. Ozzie Pratt had a two-run double for the Golden Eagles (43-20).

In the day’s first game, Ozzie Pratt went 4 for 6 with a double, two runs and three RBI as Southern Miss put up crooked numbers in three of the first four innings in eliminating Indiana (33-26-1).

Lexington Regional

Mason Moore (9-0) fanned six in six scoreless innings as UK blanked ISU to win the Lexington Regional. Emilien Pitre had a two-run homer and scored twice for the Wildcats (43-14). Randal Diaz had two hits for the Sycamores (44-15).

Earlier, Brennyn Cutts (7-1) went the distance with five strikeouts and Mike Sears blasted a grand slam as ISU eliminated Illinois (35-21).

Athens Regional

#3 Georgia Tech 3, #2 UNCW 1 (UNCW eliminated)

Corey Collins had a two-run double to cap a three-run 10th as Georgia outlasted Georgia Tech to capture the Athens Regional title. Tre Phelps homered in the eighth and Kolby Branch went deep in the ninth for the Bulldogs (42-15) to force the extra frame. Vahn Lackey had a three-run homer for the Yellow Jackets (33-25).

In the first game, Mike Becchetti had a two-run homer in the fourth to snap a 1-1 tie as Georgia Tech edged UNCW in an elimination contest. Cam Jones (4-2) allowed one run over seven innings to pick up the win. Dawson Brown fanned three over the final two innings to record his fourth save. Tanner Thach had two hits, including a double, and one RBI for the Seahawks (40-21).

Charlottesville Regional
No. 1 Virginia 9, No. 2 Mississippi State 2 (MSU eliminated)
No. 2 Mississippi State 13, No. 3 St. John’s 5 (St. John’s eliminated)

Jay Woolfolk turned in the longest start of his career, working eight-plus innings with two earned runs, eight hits and seven strikeouts, and Luke Hanson had two RBI as Virginia topped Mississippi State to advance to its ninth Super Regional in the past 15 years. The Cavaliers (44-15) were clinging to a 3-2 lead before scoring six times in the top of the ninth. Hanson had a bases-loaded, two-run single down the left-field line, and Griff O’Ferrall (1 for 4, 3 R) followed with a sacrifice bunt that was thrown away, allowing two more runs to score. Dakota Jordan had a two-run homer in the first inning, and Pico Kohn allowed three runs (two earned) with eight strikeouts in seven innings for the Bulldogs (39-21). Earlier in the day, Jordan went 5 for 5 with a homer, three runs and four RBI, and David Mershon went 3 for 4 with a homer, four runs and two RBI as MSU eliminated St. John’s (37-16-1).

Raleigh Regional

Alec Makarewicz had two hits, including a solo homer, and two RBI, and Noah Soles added a solo homer and two runs as NC State slipped past James Madison to reach the Super Regionals. Logan Whitaker allowed four hits and two earned runs with six strikeouts in six strong innings for the Wolfpack (33-20). Mike Mancini homered twice in a 3-for-4, three-RBI night for the Dukes (34-23). It capped a four-homer day for Mancini, who hit two solo homers earlier in the day as JMU eliminated South Carolina. Donovan Burke tossed 6.2 scoreless innings with three hits and seven strikeouts for JMU.

Clemson Regional
No. 1 Clemson 12, No. 3 Coastal Carolina 5 (Coastal Carolina eliminated)
No. 3 Coastal Carolina 6, No. 4 High Point 5 (High Point eliminated)

Jacob Hinderleider went 3 for 5 with three RBI, and Alden Mathes contributed two hits, three runs and three RBI as Clemson reached the Super Regional round for the first time since 2010 by eliminating Coastal Carolina. The game marked the last game for Chanticleers coach Gary Gilmore, who took his team to 19 Regionals and captured the 2016 national championship. The Tigers (42-14) scored in each of the first five innings to take a 6-2 inning. After the Chanticleers (35-24) clawed back to 6-5 with three runs in the top of the eighth, Clemson put six runs on the board to secured the Regional. Caden Bodine capped a huge weekend by going 2 for 4 with a homer and two RBI for Coastal Carolina. Earlier in the day, Bodine hit a two-run homer to give Coastal its final margin, and Derek Bender went 3 for 4 with a homer and three RBI as the Chants eliminated High Point (34-25).

Tallahassee Regional
No. 1 Florida State 12, No. 3 UCF 4 (UCF eliminated)
No. 3 UCF 5, No. 4 Stetson 2 (Stetson eliminated)

Max Williams went 2 for 4 with a homer, two runs and three RBI, and Cam Smith added a homer and two RBI as Florida State beat UCF to reach the Super Regionals. The Seminoles (43-15) took advantage of three errors, which contributed to seven unearned runs. Trailing 2-0, FSU scored nine times in the fifth inning, including Smith’s two run homer and Smith’s three-run homer. FSU reached the Super Regionals for the first time since 2019 and will host for the first time since 2017. Jack Zyska went 2 for 4 with a homer and two RBI for the Knights (36-20), who earlier eliminated Stetson (40-20) as Zyska went 3 for 3 with a homer and two RBI.
