Clemson Regional

After going 0 for 6, Hunter Ensley delivered an RBI double in the top of the 14th as UT outlasted Clemson to snap the 17-game win streak of the Tigers. Christian Moore had a homer in the first for the Vols (40-19). Cam Cannarella had a three-run homer in the fifth for the Tigers (44-18) and Caden Grice added an RBI double later in the frame as Clemson took a 4-1 lead. Zane Denton homered in the seventh as UT pulled within two at 4-2. The Vols had two outs and no one on before Moore singled and went to third on a base hit by Blake Burke. Denton homered on a 2-2 pitch to give UT a 5-4 lead. Cannarella had an RBI double with two away in the bottom of the ninth to force extra innings. Clemson loaded the bases with none out in the 10th before a strikeout and a double play ended the threat. Chase Burns pitched 6.1 innings in relief with six hits, one run, four walks and eight strikeouts for the Vols. Seth Halvorsen (3-3, 3.1 IP, BB, 3 K) earned the win. Grice (8.2 IP, 6 H, 4 R, BB, 10 K) was one out away from a complete game and was the first of 10 pitchers used by the Tigers.

Eli Weisner had a three-run homer in the fourth and Jack Dragum smacked a two-run dinger later in the frame as Charlotte downed Lipscomb. Blake Jackson had three hits and two runs for the 49ers (35-27). Wyatt Hudepohl (7-6, 8.0 IP, 6 H, 2 R, BB) struck out 11 in earning the win. Mason Lundgrin had two hits, including a double, and two RBI for the Bisons (36-26).

Charlottesville Regional

CBI Live: Parker Prevails Over Pirates Again

Bryce Madron had a double, a triple and drove in four as OU downed Army. Easton Carmichael and Wallace Clark both went deep for the Sooners (32-27). Braxton Douthit (5-6, 4 H, R, 4 BB, 7 K) went the distance for OU. Ross Friedrick went 1 for 2 with one walk and one RBI for the Black Knights (38-18).

Auburn Regional
#4 Penn 5, #3 Samford 4
#2 Southern Miss 7, #1 Auburn 2 (Auburn eliminated)

Cole Zaffiro (4 H, 2 R) fanned eight in 8.0 innings as Penn edged Samford to reach a regional final for the first time in program history. Ben Miller had two hits and two RBI for the Quakers (34-14), who built a 5-0 lead after five. Garrett Staton had a two-run homer in the eighth for the Bulldogs (37-24). Samford scored two in the ninth and had the potential tying run tagged out at third to end the game. David Shoemaker recorded the final three outs to earn his first save.

Christopher Sargent smacked a three-run homer in the first and Dustin Dickerson added solo shots in the third and fifth innings as Southern Miss eliminated Auburn, the No. 13 national seed. Billy Oldham (7-3, 5.2 IP, 4 H, 2 R, 2 BB, 1 K) recorded the victory for the Golden Eagles (42-18), while Will Armistead (3.1 IP, 5 H, 2 BB, 3 K) earned his first save. Cole Foster went 2 for 4 with a run for the Tigers (34-23-1).

Braylen Wimmer had a two-run homer in the third and Gavin Casas delivered a two-run single in a four-run fifth as USC defeated NCSU. Jack Mahoney (7-3, 6.0 IP, 7 H, 3 R, 6 K) recorded the win for the Gamecocks (41-19), while Chris Veach registered the final two outs for his first save. Chase Nixon had two hits and two RBI for the Wolfpack (36-20).

Bryce Arnold had a grand slam to cap a five-run seventh to even the score and Jarrod Belbin had a three-run homer to finish a five-run eighth as Campbell rallied past CCSU. Grant Knipp went 1 for 2 with two walks and two runs for the Camels (45-14). Joe Rios (3 for 5, 2 R) and Jeff Nicol (2 RBI) both went deep for the Blue Devils (36-14).

Conway Regional

#1 Coastal Carolina 12, #3 UNCW 2 (UNCW eliminated)

Damon Lux delivered a sacrifice fly in the top of the ninth to snap a 1-1 deadlock as Duke nipped Rider. Jay Beshears homered in the first to give the Blue Devils (37-21) the early lead. Luke Lesch (1-2, BB) had a sacrifice fly in the sixth for the Broncs (36-20) to level the score at 1-1. Fran Oschell III (5-0, 2.0 IP, 2 BB, 4 K) earned the win in relief, the fifth hurler for Duke.

Graham Brown belted a two-out grand slam in the first as CCU rolled past UNCW. Caden Bodine went 4 for 6 with a homer, four runs and two RBI, while Nick Lucky was 3 for 4 with a double, two walks, two runs and two RBI for the Chanticleers (40-20). Riley Eikhoff (3-1, 6 H, 2 R, 6 K) went the distance for CCU. Alec DeMartino (2 for 3) had a two-run homer in the seventh for the Seahawks (34-23).

Coral Gables Regional
#2 Texas 4, #1 Miami 1
#3 Louisiana 19, #4 Maine 10 (Maine eliminated)

Lebarron Johnson Jr. went the distance with eight strikeouts as UT won at Miami. Johnson (8-3) scattered seven hits with three walks and one run. Dylan Campbell (2 for 4) had a two-run homer in the first and Jack O’Dowd added a solo shot an inning later for the Longhorns (40-20). Dominic Pitelli (3 for 4) went deep in the fourth for the Hurricanes (41-20).

Kyle DeBarge (3 for 5, 2 R) and Carson Roccaforte (1 for 4) both homered and knocked in three as ULL outscored Maine. Julian Brock was 3 for 4 with a double, three runs and three RBI for the Ragin’ Cajuns (41-23). Dean O’Neill went 3 for 4 with two homers, three runs and five RBI for the Black Bears (32-21).

Fayetteville Regional

Cade Pilchard (4-1) allowed one run over 6.0 innings with three hits and four strikeouts as SCU eliminated UA. Jared Feikes (3.0 IP, 3 H, 2 R, 2 K) recorded his first save. Michael O’Hara went 2 for 4 with a homer and two RBI for the Broncos (36-19). Emilio Corona was 2 for 4 with a homer and two runs for the Wildcats (33-26).

Gainesville Regional
#3 Texas Tech 5, #1 Florida 4
#2 UConn 9, #4 Florida A&M 6 (FAMU eliminated)

Gavin Kash belted a two-run homer with two away in the bottom of the eighth to break a 3-3 tie as TTU nipped UF. It was the second long ball for Kash. His solo shot in the fifth gave the Red Raiders (40-21) a 3-1 edge. Austin Green had a two-run homer in the fourth for TTU. Jac Caglionone had a two-run dinger in the sixth for the Gators (45-15) that tied the game at 3-3.

Ben Huber (3 for 4, 3 RBI) smacked a two-run homer to cap a three-run eighth as UConn edged FAMU. David Smith went 2 for 6 with one run and two RBI for the Huskies (44-16). Devin Kirby (7-1, 4.0 IP, 4 H, 2 R, K) earned the win in relief, while Justin Willis rolled three ground balls in the ninth to record his 12th save. Ty Hanchey went 2 for 4 with a double and a homer for the Rattlers (29-30).

Lexington Regional

Peter Serruto belted a three-run homer with two away in the bottom of the seventh to erase a 3-1 deficit as IU edged UK. Connor Foley (4-2) tossed 2.2 scoreless innings with one hit and two strikeouts to earn the win for the Hoosiers (43-18). Hunter Gilliam went 1 for 4 with a double and a run for the Wildcats (37-19).

J.J. Wetherholt went 3 for 5 with a homer and four RBI as WVU power past BSU. Aidan Major (4-2) fanned eight in 5.0 innings with one hit and no walks in earning the win in relief for the Mountaineers (40-19). Nick Gregory had two hits and two RBI for the Cardinals (36-23).

Nashville Regional
#2 Oregon 8, #1 Vanderbilt 7
#3 Xavier 7, #4 Eastern Illinois 0 (EIU eliminated)

Jacob Walsh doubled twice and knocked in three as Oregon edged Vandy. Rikuu Nishida and Drew Cowley both had two hits and two runs for the Ducks (39-20). Chris Maldonado homered and knocked in two for the Commodores (42-19).

Ethan Bosacker (8-4) hurled a four-hit shutout with no walks and six strikeouts as XU blanked EIU. Andrew Walker went 2 for 4 with a homer, two runs and four RBI for the Musketeers (38-24). Lincoln Riley, Grant Lashure, Logan Eickhoff and Kolten Poorman each had a hit for the Panthers (38-21).

Stanford Regional
#2 Texas A&M 8, #1 Stanford 5
#3 Cal State Fullerton 9, #4 San Jose State 5 (SJSU eliminated)

Hunter Haas had a two-run double in the sixth to knot the score at 4-4 and broke the deadlock with a bases-clearing double in the eighth as TAMU defeated Stanford. Brandyn Garcia (3-3) tossed 2.2 hitless innings with two strikeouts to earn the win for the Aggies (38-25), while Troy Wansing recorded the final out for his second save. Braden Montgomery had a two-run homer in the first for the Cardinal (39-17).

Caden Connor homered and knocked in four as Fullerton defeated SJSU. Maddox Latta (3 for 4) also went deep for the Titans (32-23). Charles McAdoo homered twice for the Spartans (31-27), who scored all their runs on solo homers.

Stillwater Regional
#4 Oral Roberts 15, #3 Washington 12
#2 DBU 18, #1 Oklahoma State 4 (OSU eliminated)

After trailing 8-0 after two innings, ORU roared back to outscore UW and extend its win streak to 20 games. Jonah Cox had three hits and six RBI, including a three-run homer in the third, for the Golden Eagles (48-11). Jacob Godman went 3 for 6 with two doubles, a homer, three runs and two RBI for ORU. Sam DeCarlo homered twice and had four RBI for the Huskies (35-19).

Miguel Santos went 4 for 6 with three home runs, four runs and nine RBI as DBU eliminated OSU, the No. 11 national seed. Kodie Kolden was 4 for 5 with two dingers, three runs and two RBI for the Patriots (46-15). Roc Riggio and Nolan Schubart both went deep for the Cowboys (41-20).

Terre Haute Regional
#1 Indiana State 7, #2 Iowa 4
#3 North Carolina 5, #4 Wright State 0 (WSU eliminated)

Miguel Rivera and Grant Magill had consecutive two-run doubles to highlight a five-run seventh as ISU rallied past Iowa. Kyle Huckstorf had a leadoff walk in the top of the ninth and Brayden Frazier crushed a ball to left center that leftfielder Adam Pottinger made a leaping catch on over the fence for the first out. A double play that was confirmed on review ended the game. Connor Fenlong (11-2, 8.0 IP, 7 H, 4 R, 2 BB, 8 K) earned the win, while Jared Spencer pitched the ninth and earned his seventh save for the Sycamores (44-15). Raider Tello went 3 for 4 with two runs and one RBI for the Hawkeyes (43-15).

Max Carlson and Dalton Pence combined on a one-hit shutout as UNC blanked WSU. Carlson (5-2) gave up one hit, walked two and fanned five. Pence retired all seven batters he faced with one strikeout to register his second save. Mac Horvath had a three-run homer in the seventh for the Tar Heels (36-23). Sammy Sass went 1 for 3 for the Raiders (39-23).

Tuscaloosa Regional
#1 Alabama 11, #3 Troy 8
#2 Boston College 14, #4 Nicholls 6 (Nicholls eliminated)

Alabama took advantage of a two-out error to score four in the ninth and rally past Troy. Andrew Pinckney (3 for 4, 2 R, 2 RBI) and Caden Rose (2 for 3, 2 BB, 3 R, 2 RBI) both homered for the Crimson Tide (42-19). Hunter Hoopes (2-1) worked a hitless eighth to pick up the win, while Alton Davis II pitched a perfect ninth to record his eighth save. William Sullivan homered and knocked in three, while Kole Myers went deep with two RBI for the Trojans (40-21).

Joe Vetrano went 4 for 5 with a double, two homers, three runs and five RBI as BC outscored Nicholls. Nick Wang was 2 for 5 with a homer, two runs and three RBI for the Eagles (36-19). Henry Leake (5-5) tossed four scoreless innings in relief with three hits and five strikeouts to earn the win. Garrett Felix went 4 for 5 with a homer and two runs for the Colonels (34-24).

Winston-Salem Regional

#4 George Mason 11, #3 Northeastern 3 (NU eliminated)

Rhett Lowder (14-0, 3 H, 3 R, 2 ER, BB) fanned 11 in 6.0 innings as WFU rolled past UM in a game that ended after 2 am ET. Justin Johnson was a homer short of the cycle for the Demon Deacons (49-10), going 4 for 5 with five runs and four RBI. Danny Corona had two hits, including a grand slam in the eighth, and six RBI, while Pierce Bennett went 4 for 4 with five RBI for WFU. Nick Lorusso went deep twice and knocked in three for the Terps (42-20).

Carsen Pracht and Evan Blanchard combined to drive in nine as Mason defeated NU. Pracht went 3 for 5 with a double and five RBI, while Blanchard was 2 for 3 with two walks, one run and four RBI for the Patriots (35-26). Chad Gartland (7-2, 7 H, 3 R, 2 BB, 5 K) tossed the complete game for Mason. Harrison Heinberg (2 for 4), Alex Lane and Spenser Smith all homered for the Huskies (44-16).
