In Tallahassee, Fla., Cal Raleigh delivered a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the 14th as Florida State outlasted Villanova. David Gulati had a two-run double in the top of the 13th for the Wildcats (2-6) before John Sansone had a two-run single in the bottom of the frame for the Seminoles (6-2). Sansone had two hits and drove in three, while Dylan Busby went 2 for 4 with four walks, two runs and one RBI for FSU. Gulati had two hits and four RBI, while Max Beermann went 3 for 8 with two runs and two RBI for VU.

No. 1 Florida 4, UCF 0

In Orlando, Jackson Kowar and two relievers combined on 13 strikeouts with no walks as Florida blanked UCF. Kowar (1-0) allowed three hits with eight strikeouts. Brady Singer (2 IP, H, 3 K) and Shaun Anderson (2 IP, H, 2 K) completed the shutout. Dalton Guthrie homered in the first, while Mike Rivera belted a two-run dinger to cap a three-run fourth for the Gators (9-1). Austin Griffin went 1 for 2 for the Knights (6-4).

No. 6 Miami 6, FGCU 2

In Coral Gables, Fla., Zack Collins homered twice as Miami downed FGCU. Collins had a solo shot in the first and his two-run dinger in fifth put the home team ahead 3-2. Edgar Michaelangeli had a two-run double in the eighth for the Hurricanes (6-2). Jesse Lepore (1-0, 5.2 IP, 6 H, 2 R, 7 K) earned the victory. Tyler Selesky had a two-run homer in the second for the Eagles (2-6).

No. 7 LSU 9, Nicholls 4

In Thibodaux, La., Bryce Jordan knocked in three as LSU defeated Nicholls. Cole Freeman went 3 for 5 with two runs for the Tigers (6-2). Alden Cartwright (2-0, 3 IP, 3 H, BB, 3 K) earned the win in relief. LSU scored three in the first and three more in the fourth to take control. Kyle Reese drove in a pair for the Colonels (4-6).

No. 10 North Carolina 11, Winthrop 6

In Chapel Hill, N.C., Eli Sutherland homered to spark an eight-run seventh as North Carolina outscored Winthrop. Sutherland singled and scored later in the seventh. Zack Gahagan went 4 for 4 with one run and one RBI, while Tyler Ramirez drove in two for the Tar Heels (6-1). Mitch Spires went 3 for 4 with one run and two RBI for the Eagles (5-4).
