Ole Miss 4, No. 2 Louisville 2

In Oxford, Miss., Sean Johnson tossed 5.1 innings with five hits and two runs, and Will Golsan homered and drove in two as Ole Miss captured its series with Louisville. A day after being shut out, the Rebels (6-1) scored three times in the third inning as Cameron Dishon (2 for 3) and Errol Robinson had RBI hits. Golsan then contributed a sacrifice fly. Corey Ray went 2 for 4 with a solo homer for the Cardinals (5-2).

No. 12 North Carolina 4, No. 17 Oklahoma State 3

In Chapel Hill, N.C., Eli Sutherland delivered a two-run single in the bottom of the ninth as North Carolina rallied to sweep its three-game series with Oklahoma State. Donnie Walton (3 for 5, 2 R) had a two-run homer in the top of the first for the Cowboys (2-5) Logan Warmoth had an RBI double in the bottom of the first and Tyler Ramirez added a run-scoring double in the third for the Tar Heels (5-1). OSU reclaimed the lead in the fifth before UNC’s ninth-inning rally. Hansen Butler (1-0, 2.1 IP, H, K) registered the victory.

No. 3 Vanderbilt 20, UIC 8

In Nashville, Tenn., Will Toffey and Alonzo Jones each drove in three runs, and five other Vanderbilt hitters drove in two runs apiece as the Commodores completed a sweep of UIC. Karl Ellison went 3 for 4 with a homer and a pair of RBI and Bryan Reynolds contributed a 3-for-4 day with two runs and two RBI for Vandy (8-0). Cody Bohanek had two RBI for the Flames (3-4), who scored seven times in the eighth inning.

No. 4 Texas A&M 4, Pepperdine 0

In Malibu, Calif., Tyler Ivey and Jace Vines combined on a three-hit shutout with 10 strikeouts as Texas A&M won the rubber game of its series with Pepperdine. After dropping the first game, the Aggies (7-1) put together back-to-back shutouts as Ivey worked six innings with three hits and eight strikeouts. J.B. Moss blasted a two-run homer in the first inning and Boomer White finished 3 for 5 with a run and an RBI. The Waves fell to 3-4.

No. 6 Oregon State 3, Kansas 1

In Surprise, Ariz., Luke Heimlich allowed four hits and struck out three in seven scoreless innings as Oregon State slipped past Kansas despite totaling just four hits. Kyle Nobach had a two-run single for the Beavers (7-1), who played eight games over the past 10 days in Arizona. Max Engelbrekt picked up his fourth save, thanks in part to escaping a first-and-third jam in the eighth. Matt McLaughlin went 2 for 3 with an RBI for the Jayhawks (2-4).

No. 7 LSU 11, Sacramento State 1

In Baton Rouge, La., John Valek III allowed four hits and one run in seven sterling innings, and Beau Jordan drove in three runs as LSU won the rubber game of its series with Sacramento State. Kramer Robertson scored three times, Cole Freeman had two hits and three runs and Jake Fraley went 3 for 4 with a run and an RBI for the Tigers (5-2). Chris Lewis went 2 for 4 to lead the Hornets (4-3).

No. 8 Virginia 4, East Carolina 2

In Charlottesville, Va., Tommy Doyle pitched into the eighth inning as Virginia salvaged the finale of its weekend series with East Carolina. Doyle (1-0) worked seven innings with seven hits, two runs, one earned run, no walks and two strikeouts. Alec Bettinger pitched a scoreless ninth for his second save. The Cavaliers (4-3) scored twice in the first and two more in the third. the Pirates (6-1) tallied single runs in the seventh and eighth. Adam Haseley went 3 for 3 with a walk and two runs for Virginia. Travis Watkins went 2 for 4 with one RBI for ECU.

No. 9 UL Lafayette 4, Rice 2

In Houston, Stefan Trosclair smacked a two-run homer in the eighth to snap a 2-2 tie and propel UL Lafeyette past Rice in the Shriners College Classic at Minute Maid Park. Trosclair drove in three, while Joe Robbins went 2 for 4 with a double, one run and one RBI for the Ragin’ Cajuns (4-3). Nick Lee (1-0, 7 IP, 4 H, 2 R, 2 BB, 5 K) earned the victory, while Jevin Huval pitched two hitless innings with one strikeout to record his first save. Dayne Wunderlich went 1 for 4 with a double, one run and one RBI for the Owls (3-5).

No. 10 Oregon 3, Illinois State 1

In Eugene, Ore., David Peterson and Stephen Nogosek combined on a two-hitter as Oregon won three of four in its series against Illinois State. Peterson (1-0) allowed two hits and two walks in eight innings with one unearned run and nine strikeouts. Nogosek fanned two of the three batters he faced in a hitless ninth for his third save. Steven Packard went 1 for 3 with a double, a sac fly and two RBI for the Ducks (6-1). Daniel Dwyer was 1 for 3 with a walk and a run for the Redbirds (2-5).

No 11 Florida State 11, College of Charleston 2

In Tallahassee, Fla., Darren Miller went 1 for 2 with a walk and two RBI as Florida State secured a series win over College of Charleston. Hayden Kelly and Steven Wells, Jr., also drove in two for the Seminoles (5-1). Cole Sands (2-0, 5 IP, 4 H, R, 4 BB, K) picked up the victory. Bradley Jones (2 for 3) homered for the Cougars (3-3).
