In Gainesville, Fla., Jonathan India went 3 for 5 with a homer, two runs and two RBI, and Michael Byrne became Florida’s all-time saves leader as the Gators doubled-up Vanderbilt to begin their SEC series. Brady Singer (6-1) was masterful, working seven innings with two hits, one earned run and 11 strikeouts for Florida (5-2, 23-5). Stephen Scott drilled a three-run homer late for the Commodores (5-2, 17-9).

No. 1 Oregon State 9, Utah 5

In Salt Lake City, Tyler Malone had three hits and three RBI, and Andy Armstrong went 2 for 3 with a solo homer and two runs as Oregon State rallied late to even its Pac-12 series with Utah. The Beavers (6-2, 21-3) scored six times in the seventh inning as Luke Heimlich improved to 6-0 with five runs (two earned) in 6.1 innings. Matt Richardson went 3 for 5 with a run and an RBI for the Utes (2-3, 5-20).

No. 3 Stanford 5, Oregon 1

In Stanford, Calif., Kris Bubic allowed four hits and one unearned run and struck out nine, and Nick Brueser went 3 for 4 with two runs as Stanford evened its Pac-12 series with Oregon. Beau Branton added two hits and two RBI as the Cardinal built and early lead and pulled away late. Kyle Kasser had two of the four hits for the Ducks.

No. 4 Ole Miss 5, No. 7 Arkansas 4

In Oxford, Miss., Ryan Olenek went 3 for 4 with two runs, and Nick Fortes had a two-run homer as Ole Miss edged Arkansas to even their SEC showdown series. Brady Feigl (6-1) allowed seven hits and two earned runs, and Parker Caracci tossed the final two innings, striking out the side in the ninth, to earn his fifth save for the Rebels (5-3, 24-4). Eric Cole had three hits and an RBI to pace the Razorbacks (5-3, 19-8).

No. 5 Florida State 8, No. 17 Louisville 7

In Tallahassee, Fla., Jonathan Foster hit a pinch-hit, two-run game-winning homer in the bottom of the ninth as Florida State beat Louisville for the second straight day. Mike Salvatore had a big day of his own for the Seminoles (7-4, 22-6), going 2 for 4 with a homer and four RBI. Tyler Fitzgerald went 3 for 4 with two runs and an RBI, and Josh Stowers and Logan Wyatt each drove in a pair of runs for the Cardinals (4-7, 18-8).

No. 14 Southern Miss 12, Rice 1

In Hattiesburg, Miss., Nick Sandlin allowed two hits and no earned runs in eight innings as Southern Miss won its C-USA series opener with Rice. Sandlin (4-0) did not walk a batter and struck out 13. The Golden Eagles (5-1, 18-6) led 4-1 before scoring eight in the eighth. LeeMarcus Boyd had two hits and two RBI for Southern Miss. Andrew Dunlap went 1 for 3 with a double and one run for the Owls (1-6, 11-17).

No. 15 Indiana 6-13, Butler 5-0

In Bloomington, Ind., Pauly Milto tossed six scoreless innings in the nightcap as IU swept a doubleheader from BU. Milto (4-2) allowed six hits with two walks and three strikeouts. Ryan Fineman had three hits and five RBI for the Hoosiers (19-5). Zach Parker went 1 for 2 with a triple for the Bulldogs (17-6). IU scored on a passed ball in the bottom of the ninth to pull out the opener.

No. 16 Duke 5, Notre Dame 4

In Durham, N.C., Michael Smicklas was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded with two away to cap a four-run bottom of the ninth as Duke won its ACC series opener with Notre Dame. Max Miller went 1 for 3 with one walk and one run for the Blue Devils (7-3, 22-5). Matt Vierling (2 for 4, 2B, R) drove in two for the Fighting Irish (4-6, 11-14). Scott Tully allowed two hits and a run in the first eight innings for Notre Dame with one walk and three strikeouts.

Georgia 3, No. 18 Texas A&M 0

In Athens, Ga., four pitchers combined on a two-hit shutout as Georgia clinched an SEC series win over TAMU. Tony Lacey (5-0, 3.2 IP, H, 4 K) earned the win in relief, while Aaron Schunk worked a hitless ninth for his third save. Tucker Bradley had two hits and two RBI for the Bulldogs (7-1, 21-6). Braden Shewmake and Chris Andritsos both had hits for the Aggies (2-6, 20-8).

No. 19 East Carolina 7, Wichita State 3

In Greenville, N.C., Brady Lloyd went 2 for 4 with a homer and two runs as ECU evened its American series with WSU. Connor Litton (2 for 4) also went deep for the Pirates (3-2, 19-6). Paxton Wallace went 3 for 4 for the Shockers (1-1, 19-5).

Mississippi State 4, No. 20 LSU 1

In Baton Rouge, La., Ethan Small allowed one run and fanned nine in eight innings as MSU evened its SEC series at LSU. Small (2-2) allowed four hits and one walk. Cole Gordon worked a hitless ninth with two strikeouts to earn his second save. Justin Foscue went 2 for 2 with a walk and a homer for the Bulldogs (2-6, 14-14). Beau Jordan (2 for 3) went deep for the Tigers (4-4, 17-11).
