W1 Southern 15, E1 Alabama State 0 (Southern wins SWAC Championship)
In New Orleans, Eli Finney allowed three hits in 8.1 scoreless innings as SU blanked ASU to claim the SWAC title. Finney (6-2) walked two and fanned six. Tyler LaPorte went 2 for 4 with a triple, a homer, two walks, three runs and five RBI for the Jaguars (32-22). Johnny Johnson had four hits, two doubles and three RBI, while Bobby Johnson went 3 for 5 with a homer, three runs and two RBI for SU. Noel Cheneau, Santiago Garcia and Cristopher DeGuzman all had one hit for the Hornets (28-26).
Patriot League Championship Series
#3 Army 4, #1 Navy 3 (Army wins Patriot League Championship)
In Annapolis, Md., Jeremiah Adams had an RBI single with one away in the top of the ninth as Army edged Navy to win the Patriot League Championship. The Midshipmen (39-17) scored single runs in the fourth and fifth to take a 2-1 advantage. Andre Walden had a sacrifice fly in the sixth and Josh White delivered a run-scoring single in the seventh as the Black Knights (34-24) went up 3-2. Zach Biggers (2 for 4, 2 RBI) homered in the eighth for Navy to tie it at 3-3. Jacob Hurtubise went 2 for 2 with three walks and two runs for Army.
Ivy League Championship Series
Harvard 8, Columbia 6 (11 innings) (Harvard wins Ivy League Championship)
In Cambridge, Mass., Patrick McColl had a two-run double in the top of the 11th as Harvard outlasted Columbia to sweep their championship series. Joe Engel (2 for 4, 2 BB, 2 R) had an RBI double to spark a three-run first for the Lions (19-23), who led 4-0 after four. McColl (2 for 6, 5 RBI) had a three-run homer to cap a four-run sixth for the Crimson (27-13). Harvard added single runs in the seventh and eighth before Liam McGill delivered a two-run single in the bottom of the eighth to even the score at 6-6. Kieran Shaw (1-3, 4 BB, 3 K) tossed three hitless, scoreless innings to earn the victory.
In Los Angeles, Ryan Kreidler and Jeremy Ydens both homered twice as UCLA completed the Pac-12 sweep of UW. Kreidler went 4 for 5 with four RBI, while Ydens was 3 for 5 with five RBI. Garrett Mitchell went 3 for 6 with a triple, a homer, three runs and three RBI for the Bruins (22-5, 45-8). Braiden Ward had two hits for the Huskies (12-15, 28-22).
No. 12 Oregon State 5, No. 3 Stanford 2
In Stanford, Calif., Grant Gambrell tossed five scoreless innings as OSU split a pair of Pac-12 contests at Stanford. Gambrell (5-1) scattered five hits with one walk and four strikeouts. Jake Mulholland recorded the final three outs for his eighth save. Jake Harvey had two hits and two RBI, while Zak Taylor homered for the Beavers (20-6, 35-16-1). Will Matthiessen had two hits and two RBI for the Cardinal (20-6, 39-10).
