In Starkville, Miss., Tanner Allen delivered an RBI double in the bottom of the ninth as Mississippi State edged Southern Miss to win the rubber game of their series. Jordan Westburg scored the winning run and three on the day, and Elijah Macnamee had two hits and two RBI for the Bulldogs (6-1). Allen finished 2 for 4 with two RBI. Hunter Slater went 2 for 4 with an RBI for the Golden Eagles (4-2).

Monmouth 8, No. 13 East Carolina 5
In Greenville, N.C., JD Andreessen went 2 for 4 with a two-run double to fuel a five-run seventh inning as Monmouth rallied to beat East Carolina to salvage the third game of their series. Zach Schild added a two-run homer as the Hawks (1-5) added two insurance runs in the ninth inning, and Jordan McCrum closed with three scoreless innings with two hits and five strikeouts. Ryder Giles drove in three, and Thomas Francisco went 2 for 3 with a homer, two runs and two RBI for the Pirates (5-2).

No. 1 LSU 4, Bryant 3
In Baton Rouge, La., Zach Watson had two hits and two runs, and Josh Smith added two hits and a run as LSU slipped past Bryant to complete a weekend sweep. Aaron George (1-0) worked 1.1 innings with three strikeouts to post the win for the Tigers (7-0). Sam Owens went 2 for 4 with a double, a run and two RBI for the Bulldogs (2-4).

No. 2 Vanderbilt 6-6, Pepperdine 3-2 (Game 1 Box, Game 2 Box)

In Nashville, Tenn., Austin Martin went 4 for 5 with two runs and two RBI, and Philip Clarke added two hits and two RBI as Vanderbilt won the first game of a doubleheader against Pepperdine. Drake Fellows (1-0) was fantastic, working six innings with five hits, one earned run, one walk and nine strikeouts for the Commodores. Charlie Welch went 3 for 4 with an RBI for the Waves. In the second game, Clarke hit a solo homer, and Cooper Davis and JJ Bleday had two hits and two RBI apiece as Vandy (5-1) completed the sweep. Kumar Rocker (1-1) tossed three scoreless innings of relief with five strikeouts to earn the win. Reese Alexiades drove in two for Pepperdine (3-3).

No. 3 UCLA 6, Georgia Tech 0
In Atlanta, Jesse Bergin led four UCLA pitchers in a four-hit shutout of Georgia Tech as the Bruins captured their series with the Yellow Jackets. Bergin (2-0) allowed two hits and no earned runs with four strikeouts in six innings for the Bruins (6-1). Ryan Kriedler hit a solo homer and scored twice, Michael Toglia went 2 for 4 with a run and an RBI and Jake Pries added three hits for UCLA. The Jackets fell to 3-3.

No. 4 Texas Tech 19, Kentucky 4
In Lubbock, Texas, Tanner O’Tremba went 3 for 5 with a homer, two runs and seven RBI, and Brian Klein went 4 for 7 with two runs and four RBI as Texas Tech completed a sweep of Kentucky. The Red Raiders (5-1) piled up 17 hits and led 12-2 after scoring six runs in the third and four more in the fourth. Kentucky (3-3) was limited to four hits, with Jaren Shelby going 2 for 3 with a run and two RBI.

No. 5 Florida 4, Miami 1

In Gainesville, Fla., Kendrick Calilao went 3 for 4 with a double, homer, two runs and two RBI as Florida won the rubber game of its series with Miami. Jack Leftwich (5 H, 1 ER, 7 K) gave Florida (5-3) five solid innings before turning it over to Jordan Butler (3 H) for three scoreless innings and Nolan Crisp for his fourth save. Brian Van Belle pitched well in defeat, allowing seven hits and two earned runs in six innings for the Hurricanes (5-2).

No. 6 North Carolina 2-5, USF 1-3 (Game 1 box, Game 2 box)
In Chapel Hill, N.C., Tyler Baum was brilliant, working seven innings with five hits, one earned run and 12 strikeouts, as North Carolina edged USF in the first game of a doubleheader. The Tar Heels scored twice in the first inning on a wild pitch and a sacrifice fly from Ike Freeman. Baum and Joey Lancellotti (2 IP, SV) made it stick. Lyle   Logan tossed 3.1 innings of hitless relief with four strikeouts for the Bulls. In the second game, Freeman ripped a two-run homer in the eighth inning to cap a four-RBI game and lift the Tar Heels (7-0) to a series sweep. Jordan Santos went 2 for 4 with an RBI for USF (3-4).

No. 7 Oregon State 8, Nebraska 3
In Surprise, Ariz., Alex McGarry went 3 for 4 with a homer, two runs and two RBI, and Kyler McMahan and Beau Philip each added two RBI as Oregon State completed a sweep of Nebraska. Preston Jones added three hits, two runs and an RBI for the Beavers (8-0). Cam Chick drove in two for the Cornhuskers (3-5).

No. 8 Stanford 6, UNLV 5
In Stanford, Calif., Will Matthiessen and Brandon Wulff hit back-to-back homers to fuel a five-run sixth inning as Stanford won its series with UNLV. Matthiessen went 3 for 3 with a homer and two RBI, and Wulff went 2 for 4 with two RBI for the Cardinal (6-1). Bryson Stott went 2 for 4 with a homer – a two-run shot in a three-run ninth – two runs and two RBI, and Edarian Williams went 4 for 5 with a run and an RBI for the Rebels (4-4).

No. 11 Ole Miss 6, Tulane 3
In New Orleans, Tyler Keenan had three hits and two RBI, and Anthony Servideo added two hits and two RBI as Ole Miss scored four late runs to beat Tulane and capture their weekend series. The Rebels (4-2) used six pitchers, the last five – Austin Miller, Connor Green (1-0), Kaleb Hill, Tyler Myers and Doug Nikhazy (SV) – combining to allow three hits and striking out six over the final five innings. Kobi Allen went 3 for 4 with a run for the Green Wave (6-2).

No. 12 Georgia 13-12, UMass Lowell 5-5 (Game 1 box, Game 2 box)
In Athens, Ga., Riley King had two hits and three RBI, and Aaron Schunk homered, scored three times and drove in two as Georgia won the first game of a doubleheader with UMass Lowell. Oscar Marchena drove in two for the River Hawks. In the nightcap, John Cable had two hits, including one of six homers for the Bulldogs, and drove in four, and Schunk added three hits, three runs and an RBI. Steve Passatempo went 3 for 4 with a homer and two RBI for the River Hawks.

No. 14 Baylor 12, Cornell 4
In Waco, Texas, Cole Haring went 3 for 5 with a homer and four RBI, and Kyle Harper added two hits, including a homer, and two RBI as Baylor completed a sweep of Cornell. The Bears (7-0) scored two in the first and seven in the second to take control. Will Simoneit went 2 for 3 with a homer, two runs and two RBI for Cornell (0-3).
