Poll
Miami, Florida State and North Carolina holds spots in Top
Four
By sitting on top of all four national
polls for the third consecutive week,
Arizona State remains No. 1
in the CollegeBaseballInsider.com Composite Poll.
The Sun Devils went 3-0 this
past week to raise their record to 25-1. ASU swept a three-game Pac-10 series
from USC.
Miami (Fla.) won its four games last
week, two against Bethune-Cookman and two at Duke, to improve to 21-2 and stay
at No. 2. Florida State (23-3)
beat Stetson twice and took two of three at Wake Forest to remain at No. 3. North Carolina (21-5)
defeated Davidson and Gardner-Webb before splitting a pair with NC State to
hold at No. 4. UC Irvine (19-3) handled Harvard and won two of three at Cal
Poly to climb two spots to No. 5.
Wichita State (20-3) went 6-0 last week
and climbed five spots to No. 9. Nebraska (21-4-1) went 4-1, including 2-1 at
Texas, to rise seven places to No. 12.
