UCLA remains in the top spot and five teams entered this week’s CBI Composite Poll.

The Bruins had a 4-0 week, posting a midweek win over UC Irvine before sweeping a three-game Big Ten series against Michigan to extend their win streak to 11. UCLA is first in all five national polls.

Texas went 3-1 to hold onto second. The Longhorns won at Texas State before winning an SEC home series against Ole Miss. UT is second in all five polls.

Georgia Tech was 3-1 and moved up one spot to third. The Yellow Jackets defeated West Georgia before taking two of three in an ACC set at No. 10 Clemson. GT is third in all five polls.

Auburn had a 4-0 week to bump up one place to fourth. The Tigers topped UAB before sweeping an SEC series at Missouri. Auburn is fourth in four polls and fifth in the other.

Arkansas went 2-2 and rose one spot to fifth. The Razorbacks rebounded from a Monday loss to Stetson to take two of three from third-ranked Mississippi State in SEC action. Arkansas is fourth in one poll, fifth in three polls and seventh in the other.

USC, Florida, Kentucky, Oregon and West Virginia enter the CBI Composite Poll, with the Trojans debuting at No. 13. LSU, Wake Forest, TCU, Texas A&M and Tennessee all dropped out.

There are eight teams from the SEC in the latest CBI Composite Poll, including six of the top eight teams in the poll. There are six from the ACC, three from the Big Ten, one independent, and single entities from the Big 12 and Sun Belt.
