Following a series win over Arkansas, LSU moved into first in the CBI Composite Poll.

The Tigers are first in all five national polls. LSU is the fifth different SEC team to hold the top spot in the CBI Composite Poll, joining Texas A&M, Tennessee, Arkansas and Texas.

Florida State had a 3-1 week and rose four spots to second. The Seminoles beat Jacksonville and took two of three at Cal. FSU is second in two polls, third in one, fifth in one and sixth in the other.

North Carolina went 2-1 and bumped up two places to third. The Tar Heels topped Campbell and split a pair with No. 20 NC State. UNC is third in one poll, fourth in three polls and fifth in the other.

Texas had a 2-2 week and fell to fourth. The Longhorns defeated Lamar before losing a home series to Florida. UT is second in one poll, third in two, sixth in one and eighth in the other.

Auburn swept a three-game series from South Carolina and moved up three places to fifth. The Tigers are second in two polls, sixth in two and eighth in the other.

Alabama and Dallas Baptist reentered the CBI Composite Poll, while Louisville and Oklahoma dropped out.

There are eight teams from the SEC in this week’s CBI Composite Poll. There are four from the ACC, two from the Big 10 and Sun Belt, and single entries from the Big 12, Big West, Conference USA and independent.
