Arkansas moved up one spot to first in the latest CBI Composite Poll.
The Razorbacks went 4-0, topping Grambling State before sweeping a three-game set from Missouri. Arkansas is first in all five national polls.
Texas had a 3-1 week and rose one place to second. The Longhorns rebounded from a loss to Texas State to sweep a three-game series from No. 3 Georgia. UT is second in all five polls.
LSU went 4-0 and bumps up three places to third. The Tigers downed Louisiana Tech before sweeping a three-game set at No. 9 Oklahoma. LSU is third in four polls and fourth in the other.
Clemson had a 4-0 week and also moved up three spots to fourth. The Tigers defeated Georgia Southern before taking three at California. Clemson is third in one poll, fourth in two and fifth in the other two.
Tennessee went 2-2 and fell four places to fifth. The Vols downed Tennessee Tech before dropping two of three against Texas A&M. UT is fourth in two polls and fifth in the other three.
Georgia Tech and Wake Forest moved into this week’s CBI Composite Poll, while Southern Miss and DBU dropped out.
There are 10 teams from the SEC in the CBI Composite Poll, including six of the top nine teams. There are six from the ACC, two from the Big Ten, and single entries from the Big West and independent.
