Following a 4-0 week, Tennessee moved up to No. 1 in the latest CBI Composite Poll
The Volunteers beat North Alabama at home before heading to Houston and recording wins over Oklahoma State, Rice and Arizona. UT is first in four polls and second in the other.
LSU bumped up one place to second. The Tigers went 5-0, beating Nicholls and DBU before travelling to Frisco, Texas, and defeating Kansas State, Nebraska and Sam Houston. LSU is first in one poll, second in three polls and fourth in the other.
Arkansas had a 4-0 week and rose one spot to third. The Razorbacks beat Grambling State before sweeping a three-game series from Charlotte. Arkansas is third in three polls, sixth in one poll and 10th in the other.
North Carolina went 6-0 and climbed two places to fourth. The Tar Heels defeated East Carolina, VCU and North Carolina A&T before sweeping a three-game set from Stony Brook. UNC is third in one poll, fourth in two polls and seventh in the other two.
Florida State was 4-0 and stayed in fifth. The Seminoles won at Jacksonville before sweeping a three-game set from Georgetown. FSU is fourth in one poll, fifth in three polls and sixth in the other.
Oklahoma, Alabama and Ole Miss entered this week’s CBI Composite Poll, while Mississippi State, Duke and TCU dropped out.
There are 11 teams from the SEC in this week’s CBI Composite Poll. There are five from the ACC and single teams from the Big Ten, Big West and Conference USA along with one independent.
