After a week when only five of the top 15 teams had a winning week. South Carolina climbed to No. 3 and four new teams entered the latest CBI Composite Poll.

LSU had a 3-1 week, with an SEC series sweep at Ole Miss, to stay at No. 1. The Tigers are first in all six national polls.

Wake Forest also went 3-1, with an ACC series win at Pittsburgh, to remain in second. The Demon Deacons are second in four polls and third in the other two.

South Carolina had a 4-0 week, with an SEC series sweep of Florida, last week’s third-ranked team. The Gamecocks moved from No. 6 to No. 3. USC is second in two polls and third in the other four.

After a 1-3 week, the Gators dropped one spot to fourth. UF is fourth in five polls and eighth in the other.

Arkansas went 1-3, including getting swept by Georgia, to hold onto fifth. The Razorbacks are sixth in three polls and seventh in the other three.
