After a 4-0 week, Vanderbilt remained No. 1 in the CBI Composite Poll

The Commodores topped Tennessee Tech before sweeping a three-game set at LSU. Vandy is first in five polls and second in the other.

Arkansas went 3-1 and held onto second. The Razorbacks beat Central Arkansas before taking two of three from Auburn. Arkansas is first in one poll and second in the other five.

Texas had a 3-1 week and moved up three spots to third. The Longhorns rebounded from a loss at Texas A&M to sweep a three-game set at Kansas. UT is third in three polls, fourth in one and sixth in the other two.

Tennessee also went 3-1 and rose three places to fourth. The Vols beat Western Carolina before winning two of three at Alabama. UT is fourth in four polls, sixth in one and seventh in the other.

Ole Miss lost two of three at No. 13 Florida and fell two spots to fifth. The Rebels are third in three polls, fifth in one, eighth in one and 11th in the other.

Miami (Fla.) entered the poll, while Michigan dropped out.

There are seven teams from the SEC, including five of the top six spots. There are four teams from the ACC, Big 12 and Pac-12. There is one team from the American.
