Florida State 5, No. 13 LSU 4 (12 innings) (FSU advances to College World Series)
Drew Mendoza delivered a game-winning RBI single with two away in the bottom of the 12th as FSU swept its series at LSU to earn its 23rd trip to Omaha and second in the past three years, keeping the career of head coach Mike Martin going. Mike Salvatore (3 for 5, R, RBI) had a one-out single up the middle and moved to second on a wild pitch. With two away, Mendoza (2 for 5) singled to right to end the contest. Antonio Velez (5-2, 4.2 IP, 4 H, 6 K) registered the victory for the Seminoles (41-21). Antoine Duplantis went 4 for 6 with a double, a homer, two runs and three RBI for the Tigers (40-26).
Los Angeles Super Regional
Michigan 4, No. 1 UCLA 2 (UM advances to College World Series)
Tommy Henry allowed two runs over seven innings as UM edged UCLA to reach the College World Series for the first time since 1984. Henry (10-5) allowed seven hits, did not walk a batter and struck out six. Benjamin Keizer (2 IP, H, 2 K) recorded his second save. Ako Thomas had a two-run single in the fifth to put the Wolverines (46-20) on top 3-2. Christan Bullock (2 for 3, 2B, 2 R) tripled and scored on a sacrifice fly by Joe Donovan in the top of the ninth for UM. Jeremy Ydens had three hits, while Jake Pries homered in the second for the Bruins (52-11), who lost three times at home to the Wolverines this season.
Starkville Super Regional
No. 6 Mississippi State 8, No. 11 Stanford 1 (MSU advances to College World Series)
Dustin Skelton had a bases-clearing triple in the third as MSU completed the sweep of Stanford to earn its second straight trip to Omaha and 10th appearance in the College World Series. Elijah MacNamee added a three-run homer in the ninth for the Bulldogs (51-13). Peyton Plumlee (7-4, 6.2 IP, 2 H, R, BB, 6 K) earned the victory. Kyle Slowers homered to lead off the bottom of the first for the Cardinal (45-13).
Chapel Hill Super Regional
No. 14 North Carolina 2, Auburn 0 (series tied 1-1)
Ike Freeman had a two-run single in the top of the first, while Austin Bergner and Austin Love combined on a six-hit shutout, as UNC evened its series with Auburn. Bergner went 4.1 innings with four hits, four walks and five strikeouts. Love (8-4) earned the win in relief, going the final 4.2 frames with two hits and six punchouts. Danny Serretti and Ashon McGee both had two hits for the Tar Heels (46-18). Conor Davis and Steven Williams had two hits each for the Tigers (37-26).
Fayetteville Super Regional
No. 12 Ole Miss 13, No. 5 Arkansas 5 (series tied 1-1)
Cole Zabowski belted a three-run homer in the bottom of the first to put Ole Miss on top for good at Arkansas to even the series at one game apiece. Zabowski went 3 for 4 with two runs and three RBI. His was one of four dingers for the Rebels (41-26). Cooper Johnson (2 for 5) had a solo shot to spark a five-run second, Tyler Keenan (2 for 5, 3B, 2 R, 4 RBI) went deep in a three-run sixth, and Grae Kessinger (1 for 3, 3 R) had a two-run homer in the seventh. Doug Nikhazy (9-3, 5 IP, 10 H, 5 R, BB, 8 K) picked up the win, while Houston Roth (4 IP, 2 H, 3 K) earned his first save. Dominic Fletcher (2 for 5) had a two-run homer in the top of the first for the Razorbacks (45-18).
Lubbock Super Regional
No. 8 Texas Tech 8, No. 9 Oklahoma State 6 (TTU advances to College World Series)
Kurt Wilson whacked a three-run homer in the eighth to erase a 6-5 deficit as TTU edged OSU to make its fourth trip to Omaha in the past six seasons. Fulford went deep in the fifth to give the Red Raiders (44-18) a 4-3 advantage. Josh Jung had solo shots in the fourth and eighth for TTU. John McMillon (3-3, 3.2 IP, 2 H, 3 R, 2 ER, 2 BB, 6 K) registered the win in relief, while Dane Haveman worked a scoreless ninth with a pair of strikeouts to earn his third save. The Cowboys (40-21) cranked home runs off the bats of Colin Simpson (1 for 4, 2 RBI), Trevor Boone and Cade Cabbiness.
Nashville Super Regional
No. 2 Vanderbilt 13, Duke 2 (VU advances to College World Series)
Austin Martin homered in each of the first two innings as VU downed Duke to claim the second spot in the 2019 College World Series, its fourth trip to Omaha and first since 2016. Martin had a leadoff homer in the bottom of the first and Pat DeMarco added a three-run shot later in the frame. Martin smacked a two-run dinger in the second as the Commodores (54-11) built a 6-0 lead. Stephen Scott (2 for 4, 2 R) and Julian Infante (2 for 4, 2 R, 2 RBI) also went deep for VU. Patrick Raby (10-1, 2 IP, H, 2 BB, 4 K) earned the win in relief. Rudy Maxwell homered, while Michael Rothenberg went 3 for 4 with a double and a homer for the Blue Devils (35-27).
