No. 2 Mississippi State 20, No. 12 Auburn 15

In Starkville, Miss., Dustin Skelton went 4 for 5 with a homer – a three-run shot in a decisive five-run eighth inning – four runs and five RBI, and Rowdey Jordan went 3 for 5 with two runs and four RBI as Mississippi State captured its series with Auburn in a 4-hour, 11-minute slugfest. Jordan Westburg added two hits, a homer, four runs and three RBI for the Bulldogs (4-2, 22-3). Judd Ward went 2 for 5 with a homer and four RBI for the Tigers (4-2, 20-4).

No. 1 UCLA 3, Arizona 1

In Los Angeles, Ryan Garcia allowed one hit over 7.1 innings with eight strikeouts, and Michael Toglia and Jack Stronach hit late homers as UCLA completed a sweep of Arizona. Toglia homered in the bottom of the seventh to give the Bruins (5-1, 17-4) a 1-0 lead off Andrew Nardi. The Wildcats (2-4, 13-10) tied it at 1 when Justin Wylie tripled and scored on Dayton Dooney’s single in the top of the eighth. Stronach then answered with a two-run homer in the bottom of the eighth to lift UCLA.

No. 3 Stanford 7, Utah 3

In Stanford, Calif., Tim Tawa went 2 for 4 with a run and an RBI, and Brandon Wulff and Christian Robinson each scored twice as Stanford completed a sweep of Utah, thanks in part to six errors by the Utes. Three pitchers combined to limit Utah (1-5, 7-12) to six hits, with Will Matthiessen tossing the final three innings with no runs and three strikeouts for the Cardinal (3-0, 15-3). Rykker Tom had two hits and a run for Utah.

No. 8 Georgia 9, No. 9 LSU 7

In Athens, Ga.., John Cable hit a grand slam, and Tony Locey pitched around five walks to allow two hits and one earned run in 5.1 innings as Georgia won the rubber game of its series with LSU. Tucker Maxwell went 2 for 4 with a solo homer and two runs, and Riley King added two hits and two runs for the Bulldogs (5-1, 21-3). Aaron Schunk allowed two earned runs over the final 1.2 innings but held off the Tigers (4-2, 17-7) for his ninth save. Daniel Cabrera went 2 for 4 with a homer, two runs and three RBI to lead LSU.

No. 5 NC State 6, Miami 4

In Miami, Jonny Butler had two hits, two runs and an RBI, and NC State scored four runs, three of them unearned, in the top of the ninth to rally past Miami and complete a weekend sweep. Michael Bienlien (3-1) was the last of seven pitchers for the Wolfpack (8-1, 23-1), working 1.1 hitless innings. Raymond Gill went 3 for 4 with two runs, and Brian Van Belle worked six solid innings with seven hits, two earned runs and seven strikeouts for the Hurricanes (3-6, 15-9).

No. 7 Louisville 5, Georgia Tech 4

In Louisville, Ky., Trey Leonard delivered a game-winning, two-run single to center in the bottom of the ninth inning as Louisville rallied to beat Georgia Tech and narrowly avoid a weekend sweep. The Yellow Jackets (5-4, 16-8), behind three RBI from Tristin English, got the first two outs of the ninth inning, but three straight walks set up Leonard’s heroics for the Cardinals (6-3, 18-6).

No. 10 Arkansas 10, Alabama 2

In Tuscaloosa, Ala., Dominic Fletcher homered and drove in three as Arkansas won its SEC series at Alabama. Fletcher had an RBI groundout in the third, a run-scoring single in the fifth, and a solo homer in the eighth. Heston Kjerstad had three hits and scored three times for the Razorbacks (5-1, 20-4). Cody Scroggins (2-0, 5 IP, 3 H, 2 R, 1 ER, 3 BB, 3 K) was the starter and winner. Drew Williamson had two hits for the Crimson Tide (2-4, 19-6).

TCU 12, No. 11 Texas 8

In Fort Worth, Texas, Andrew Keefer had an RBI single to spark a five-run eighth as TCU rallied past UT to win the Big 12 series. Adam Oviedo (2 for 4, 2 R) had a three-run homer in the sixth as the Horned Frogs (2-1, 15-7) pulled within two at 7-5. After the Longhorns (1-2, 17-10) got one back in the top of the seventh, Hunter Wolfe (3 for 5, 2 R, 3 RBI) had a two-run homer in the bottom of the frame to make it a one-run affair at 8-7. Wolfe added a run-scoring single in the eighth-inning eruption for TCU. Eric Kennedy went 4 for 5 with a walk, two runs and one RBI for UT.

No. 13 North Carolina 5, Virginia Tech 2

In Blacksburg, Va., Dylan Enwiller smacked a three-run homer in the second to propel UNC to an ACC series win at VT. Will Sandy (2-0, 5.2 IP, 3 H, 4 BB, 3 K) picked up the win and Caden O’Brien (3 IP, H, BB, 5 K) earned his second save for the Tar Heels (4-5, 18-7). Kevin Madden went 3 for 4 with a triple, a run and an RBI for the Hokies (4-5, 16-8).
