Mississippi State 6, No. 1 Florida 3

In Starkville, Miss., Elijah MacNamee and Tanner Allen each hit two-run homers, and Jake Mangum contributed a two-run triple as Mississippi State scored twice in the seventh and four more in the eighth to shock Florida. Tommy Mace tossed 6.1 innings of one-run ball for the Gators, but the Bulldogs (13-15, 29-25) got to Jordan Butler and Michael Byrne (2-1) for a crucial win. Riley Self (3-0) tossed 2.2 scoreless innings to earn the win for MSU. Austin Langworthy went 2 for 3 with a solo homer for Florida (20-8, 41-13).

No. 5 Arkansas 8, No. 11 Georgia 6

In Athens, Ga., Casey Martin went 4 for 5 with two runs, Luke Bonfield homered and drove in two and Arkansas scored six times in the seventh inning to overcome Georgia in the SEC. Blaine Knight allowed two earned runs and struck out five for the Razorbacks. Cam Shepherd homered and drove in two for the Bulldogs.

No. 14 Florida State 4, No. 4 NC State 3 (11)

In Tallahassee, Fla., Steven Wells hit a game-winning homer in the bottom of the ninth as Florida State opened its ACC series with a win over NC State. Mike Salvatore went 3 for 3 with a run, and Rhett Alpin added two hits, a run and an RBI for the Seminoles (15-12, 38-16). Brett Kinneman hit a three-run homer for the Wolfpack (18-10, 39-13).

No. 6 Ole Miss 3, Alabama 2

In Tuscaloosa, Ala., Ryan Rolison allowed two earned runs with five walks and eight strikeouts in six innings, and Will Golsan had two hits, a run and an RBI as Ole Miss edged Alabama. Parker Caracci tossed two scoreless innings for his 10th save as the Rebels (17-11, 41-13) limited the Crimson Tide (7-21, 26-28) to two hits.

No. 7 Clemson 16, Pittsburgh 6

In Pittsburgh, Logan Davidson went 3 for 6 with homers from both sides of the plate – the first player in Clemson history to do that – and Patrick Cromwell homered twice and drove in four as the Tigers slugged their way past Pittsburgh. Seth Beer added four hits, three runs and four RBI as Clemson (20-8, 41-13) racked up 18 hits and scored in six of nine innings. Frank Maldonado went 2 for 4 with a homer and three RBI for the Panthers (11-17, 27-23).

No. 8 North Carolina 9, Virginia Tech 1

In Chapel Hill, N.C., Brandon Matorano went 3 for 4 with a homer and four RBI, and Cooper Criswell tossed seven scoreless innings with six strikeouts as North Carolina topped Virginia Tech. Ike Freeman and Zach Gahagan each had two hits, a run and an RBI for the Tar Heels (20-8, 35-17), who are one win away from clinching the ACC’s Coastal Division. Nick Menken went 3 for 4 with a run for the Hokies (8-20, 21-31).

Georgia Tech 9, No. 9 Duke 6 

In Atlanta, Oscar Serratos and Chase Murray both had two-run triples in a five-run third as GT took the series opener against Duke. Murray went 2 for 5 with three RBI, while Serratos had three hits and two RBI for the Yellow Jackets (13-15, 30-24). Kennie Taylor (2 for 4, 3 RBI) homered twice for the Blue Devils (17-10, 38-13).

Connecticut 3, No. 10 East Carolina 2

In Storrs, Conn., Mason Feole worked 6.1 innings with one earned run to improve to 8-1 as Connecticut edged East Carolina. Michael Woodworth had two hits and a run, and Troy Stefanski added a run and an RBI for the Huskies (13-9, 31-17-1), who handed Chris Holba (9-1) his first loss of the year. Jake Washer had two hits and an RBI for the Pirates (13-9, 38-14).
