In Clemson, S.C., Steven Wells homered with two away in the top of the 13th as FSU nipped Clemson to begin their ACC series. Mike Martin registered his 1,976th career victory, passing the late Augie Garrido for the most wins in NCAA history. Rhett Aplin and Reese Albert both had four hits and a run for the Seminoles (14-10, 32-14). CJ Van Eyk (3-0, 6.1 IP, 4 H, R, 2 BB, 7 K) earned the victory. Logan Davidson had two hits and one RBI for the Tigers (17-8, 34-12).
No. 1 Florida 6, No. 20 Texas A&M 1
In College Station, Texas, Jackson Kowar allowed one hit and one run in six innings as UF clinched an SEC series win at TAMU. Kowar (8-2) walked three and fanned eight. Jonathan India knocked in a pair for the Gators (18-5, 38-10). Zach DeLoach went 1 for 3 with a walk for the Aggies (11-12, 33-14).
No. 2 Stanford 25, Utah 5
In Stanford, Calif., Maverick Handley had a two-run double to highlight a 10-run fifth as Stanford clinched a Pac-12 series win over Utah. Andrew Daschbach (3 for 5, HR, 2 R) drove in five for the Cardinal (16-4, 36-6), who set a program record with 28 hits. Kris Bubic (7-0) tossed five scoreless innings with four hits, three walks and seven strikeouts in earning the win. Shea Kramer had two hits and two RBI for the Utes (6-4, 12-31).
No. 3 Oregon State 9, Washington State 1
In Pullman, Wash., Adley Rutschman went 3 for 4 with one run and two RBI as OSU secured a Pac-12 series win at WSU. The Beavers (14-6, 35-7) scored two in the third and four in the fourth to take control. Michael Gretler had three hits, including a pair of doubles, for OSU. Bryce Fehmel (6-1, 5.1 IP, 6 H, R, BB, 2 K) earned the win, while Brandon Eisert (3.2 IP, H, 3 K) recorded his fourth save. JJ Hancock went deep for the Cougars (6-14, 14-25).
LSU 6, No. 4 Arkansas 4
In Baton Rouge, La., Jordan Beau had two hits and two runs as LSU evened its SEC series with Arkansas. Austin Bain erased a 3-2 deficit with a two-run single in the seventh for the Tigers (11-12, 27-20). Devin Fontenot (1-0, 3 IP, H, BB, 2 K) earned the win in relief, while Todd Peterson fanned two in a hitless ninth for his second save. Dominic Fletcher (3 for 5, 2 RBI) homered for the Razorbacks (14-9, 33-14).
South Carolina 11, No. 6 Ole Miss 6
In Columbia, S.C., Carlos Cortes went 3 for 4 with two doubles, two runs and four RBI as USC clinched an SEC series over Ole Miss. Adam Hill (5-5, 6 IP, 3 H, R, 3 BB, 6 K) earned the victory. Grae Kessinger (2 for 4, 2 RBI) homered for the Rebels (12-11, 35-13).
Arizona 6, No. 7 UCLA 3
In Tucson, Ariz., Donta Williams went 1 for 2 with a walk, two runs and one RBI as Arizona completed a three-game Pac-12 sweep of UCLA. Juan Aguilera (6-0, 6.1 IP, 6 H, 2 R, 3 BB, 5 K) recorded the win for the Wildcats (10-11, 28-17). Chase Strumpf had a two-run homer in the third for the Bruins (14-7, 30-13).
No. 8 NC State 8, William & Mary 4
In Raleigh, N.C., NC State erased a 4-0 deficit with two in the seventh and six in the eighth in clinching a series victory over W&M. Brock Deatherage homered twice and knocked in four for the Wolfpack (33-12). Colin Lipke, Ryan Hall and Hunter Smith all went deep in the sixth for the Tribe (15-31).
No. 10 Texas Tech 16, Texas 5
In Lubbock, Texas, Cody Farhat went 4 for 4 with a triple, three runs and three RBI as TTU leveled its series with UT. Josh Jung (2 for 5, 2 R) homered and drove in three for the Red Raiders (12-8, 35-13). Kody Clemens went 1 for 4 with one run and one RBI for the Longhorns (13-7, 32-18).
Iowa 16, No. 16 Oklahoma State 14
In Iowa City, Iowa, Robert Neustrom homered twice and knocked in five as Iowa evened its series with OSU. Matt Hoeg had two doubles and drove in six for the Hawkeyes (27-16), who scored four in the seventh and three in the eighth to win. Michael Neustifter had four hits, including two doubles and a homer, and six RBI for the Cowboys (28-16-1).
