In Seattle, Noah Bremer fanned nine in eight innings of relief Thursday evening as UW edged OSU in the Pac-12 series lid-lifter to snap the Beavers’ 23-game win streak. Bremer scattered nine hits and allowed one run with one walk. OSU (12-1, 28-2) scored in the first before Willie MacIver (2 for 3) had an RBI double and scored in a three-run sixth for the Huskies (7-3, 20-12). Nick Madrigal went 3 for 5 with two runs for the Beavers.

In Atlanta, Brendan McKay allowed one hit in eight scoreless innings with eight strikeouts as UL blanked Georgia Tech to kick off their ACC series. McKay (5-2) walked two. Lincoln Henzman worked a hitless ninth to record his 10th save. Colby Fitch had an RBI single and scored on a wild pitch in the third for the Cardinals (29-4). Devin Hairston went 3 for 4 with a run for UL. Coleman Poje had the lone hit for the Yellow Jackets (16-16).
Kansas State 5, No. 6 Texas Tech 3
In Manhattan, Kan., Will Brennan went 4 for 4 with a double, one run and one RBI as KSU topped TTU to begin their Big 12 set. The Wildcats (2-8, 17-16) scored in four of the first five innings, including a pair in the fifth. Justin Heskett (4-2, 6.0 IP, 6 H, 3 R, BB, K) earned the win, while Tyler Eckberg (2.2 IP, 3 H, 2 BB, K) picked up his third save. Michael Davis (2 for 5) homered for the Red Raiders (6-4, 29-8).
