Eric Gutierrez had a two-run single with two away in the top of the 13th as TTU outlasted ECU to even their Super Regional series at one game apiece. Tyler Floyd started the winning rally for the Red Raiders (45-18) by drawing a two-out walk. He moved to third when Orlando Garcia singled through the right side. Stephen Smith walked to load the bases before the base hit by Gutierrez. Robert Dugger (5 IP, 2 H, 2 BB, 5 K) retired the Pirates (38-22-1) in order in the bottom of the 13th to secure the win. Tanner Gardner had three hits for TTU. Travis Watkins (1 for 2, 3 BB) had a sacrifice fly in the sixth for ECU.

Kyle Simonds allowed one run over 7.2 innings as Texas A&M evened its series with TCU. Simonds surrendered four hits and three walks while striking out six. Jace Vines (1.1 IP, 3 H, 2 K) finished the game for the Aggies (49-15). TAMU had four solo homers off the bats of J.B. Moss, Michael Barash (2 for 5, 2 R), Jonathan Moroney and Hunter Melton. Evan Skoug went 2 for 3 with one RBI for the Horned Frogs (46-16).

Drew Carlton tossed a two-hit shutout as FSU took the series opener at UF. Carlton did not walk a batter and struck out five. He retired the final 19 hitters he faced. Jackson Lueck doubled and scored on a bases-loaded walk to Tyler Holton in the fourth to give the Seminoles (41-20) a 1-0 lead. Matt Henderson had a leadoff single in the fifth and scored on a double by Taylor Walls. An error later in the frame allowed Walls to come home, giving FSU a 3-0 lead. Buddy Reed and Danny Reyes both went 1 for 3 for the Gators (50-14).

Arizona advances to College World Series
Cesar Salazar (3 for 6) had a game-winning RBI single with two away in the bottom of the 11th as Arizona rallied to knock off MSU and advance to the College World Series. It will be the first trip to Omaha for the Wildcats since they won the national championship in 2012. Kyle Lewis has a one-out single in the 11th for UA and moved to second when Ryan Aguilar (2 for 4) walked. With two away, Bobby Dalbec (2 for 4, HR) walked to loaded the bases, setting the stage for Salazar’s heroics. The Wildcats trailed 5-1 before a three-run dinger by Aguilar in the eighth and an RBI single by Alfonso Rivas (2 for 5) in the ninth. Brett Rooker went 3 for 4 with two homers and three RBI for the Bulldogs.
