Michael Hutts, Georgia Tech Pitcher, Dies

Georgia Tech junior pitcher Michael Hutts was found dead Friday. Atlanta police, along with Georgia Tech police, are trying to determine the cause of death.

Friday night’s game against top-ranked Miami was postponed. The teams are scheduled to play a doubleheader on Saturday.

Hutts, 21, was from Dunwoody, Ga. The left-hander made nine relief appearances this season with no record, allowing 10 hits in 10.2 innings with two walks and 11 strikeouts.
