After taking two of three from USC in Pac-12 play this past weekend, Oregon State remained in the top spot in the CBI Composite Poll.

The Beavers were No. 1 in all five national polls.

Louisville had a 5-0 week, including a three-game sweep of Toledo, to stay at No. 2. The Cardinals were second in all five polls.

North Carolina also went 5-0, including a three-game ACC sweep of fifth-ranked Clemson, to move up one spot to No 3. The Tar Heels were third in all five polls.

Texas Tech had a 3-2 week, including taking two of three Big 12 contests from third-ranked TCU, and climbed two spots to No. 4. The Red Raiders were fourth in three polls, fifth in one poll and sixth in the other.

Kentucky went 3-1 and rose three places to fifth. The Wildcats defeated Xavier and took two of three at South Carolina in SEC action. UK was fourth in one poll, fifth in two polls and sixth in the other two.

Stanford returned to the poll at No. 14 after its three-game sweep of Arizona. Maryland dropped out of the poll.

There were six teams in the poll from the SEC, five from the ACC, three from the Pac-12, two from the Big 12 and Big West, and one from the Big East and Big Ten.
